If you are here, something inside you is asking for more presence, more truth, and more alignment.

I know that calling ...

Nursing taught me to save lives.

Coaching allows me to transform them — helping individuals and families reconnect to who they truly are, heal generational wounds, strengthen their relationships, and create lives rooted in mindful intention.

Meet, Elmedina Goodman

Hello, I’m Elmedina, a certified mindfulness coach, intentional living guide, hospice nurse, and mother. Through personal awakening, motherhood, and years of work in healthcare, I’ve come to understand that our thoughts, emotions, and patterns all grow from a common source—the roots of our mind.

These roots shape how we think, respond, and relate to ourselves and others. When we begin to notice and understand them, we gain clarity, choice, and the ability to live more intentionally.

My work is devoted to creating safe, compassionate space for this awareness to unfold. This is not about fixing or forcing change, but about gently reconnecting with yourself, understanding your patterns, and allowing healing and alignment to emerge naturally. From this place, meaningful and lasting transformation becomes possible.

My Journey

For over 23 years, motherhood has been my greatest mirror, teacher, and guide. Through every season—infancy, childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood—I have experienced moments of feeling broken, healed, stretched, and awakened. Parenting hasn’t always been graceful. I often struggled with expectations that weren’t truly mine and found myself reacting from old patterns rather than responding from presence.

Everything began to shift when I turned inward and reconnected with my inner and spiritual self. That awakening and journey changed everything.

It brought peace where there was pressure.
Connection where there was conflict.
Grace where there was guilt.

It invited me to see myself more clearly and became the foundation of my work and the heart of The Roots of Your Mind.

My work as a hospice nurse further shaped this calling. I have the honor of witnessing people in their final moments — a sacred place where truth becomes undeniable. Over and over again, I hear the same regrets:

“I wish I had loved myself more.”
“I wish I had been more present with my children.”

Those words marked me. They opened my heart wider. They reminded me that it is never too late to awaken — but it is always better to awaken now - choosing to live consciously now is the greatest gift we can offer ourselves and those we love.

Everything I offer—mindful living coaching, mindful parenting support, guidance for healthcare professionals, and support through life transitions and grief—is grounded in awareness before action, presence before change, and compassion before judgment. I work with individuals who are ready to explore the roots of their thoughts, emotions, and patterns—not to fix themselves, but to understand themselves. From this understanding, healing and intentional change naturally arise.

Why I Do This Work

I believe everyone has the capacity to live with clarity, presence, and purpose. My mission is to guide individuals—parents, healthcare professionals, and anyone navigating life’s transitions—to understand the roots of their mind, heal from limiting beliefs, cultivate self-love, and align with their true selves to live intentionally.

A Personal Invitation

I invite you to explore your roots with curiosity, compassion, and courage.

Together, we can uncover the patterns holding you back and illuminate the path toward confidence, love, and meaningful connection — with yourself and the world around you.
